The Internship
We’re currently recruiting enthusiastic, young developers that want to work with our top talent and form the next generation of Redstagers. You’ll be mostly working with the team on our E-commerce projects. We specialize in a platform called Magento, which is the fasted growing shopping cart system on the planet. It’s quite complex, so a great fundamental understanding of computer science is required.
Here’s some qualifications that you should have:
1. Have some experience with web development projects, whether you’ve tinkered on your own sites for fun, done a project for school, or done some freelance work to pay for your weekends, or had another internship in web development.
2. Have a good understanding of CSS, Javascript, PHP and LAMP. We’ll be expecting that you know the fundamentals so that we can train you in the really advanced stuff. Knowledge of frameworks like CakePHP, CodeIgniter, or Zend Framework would definitely put you ahead of the game.
3. Have aspirations to work in a startup company environment. We’re not Goldman Sachs or UPS. We move much faster, work harder, and do much cooler work.
This is a paid internship. We hire almost exclusively from students that have interned with us before, so expect to continue the relationship beyond your internship!

Job Responsibilities
Successful candidates MUST be capable of managing the entire sales and account management process including, but not limited to, the following:• Prospecting / Lead Development;
• Cultivating warm leads brought in by the marketing department;
• Relationship Building;
• Contract Negotiations;
• Closing;
• Reporting & CRM Software; and
• Handling sensitive, confidential information appropriately.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients. For key accounts this could include appointments, client lunches, and presentations.• Attending and participating in networking events in order to establish and strengthen relationships with clients.
• Working with different levels of management to develop strategies for new business development.
• Gathering competitor information and gaining market intelligence.
Position Requirements:
• 1+ years of sales/account management experience selling web related services• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of computer skills like MS Word, Excel & Windows
• Exceptional people and presentation skills
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
• Desire to work in a young, energetic, startup environment
