Overview

Established in 1976, Bambi Baby is a family owned and operated retail chain based in New Jersey.  The company offers a hand picked selection of quality furniture, strollers, car seats, clothing, and accessories.

 

Bambi Baby came to Redstage with a legacy platform and stability issues.  Their platform was not able to offer modern features like layered navigation and easy integrations with newer technologies.  The client was also looking for a partner that was much more consultative, suggesting proven strategies, techniques, and technologies to help grow their business.

 

The Solution

 

Magento Enterprise was selected as a stable platform that has limitless extensibility capability while maintaining that stability.  Bambibaby.com was built to take full advantage of Magento’s built in marketing features, including the intelligent rule-based marketing banners, and user experience features, like layered navigation. We enhanced the upsell/cross sell features by adding customer behavior based automated upsell technologies, “who viewed this also viewed” and “frequently bought together”.  We also implemented Celebros Semantic Search technology to allow customers to use much more natural language in search and provide very accurate search results.

The Drum Works, now a wholly owned company of x8 Drums, is the culmination of experience and the dedication to bring more music, rhythm, fills and solos to the world at large. Overview

25 Park is a retailer of high fashion clothes and accessories. With a number of retail locations, they came to Redstage looking for a new website which captured the luxury feel of their brand.

 

Redstage selected Magento as the platform for the website due to it’s extensibility and capability for integration with other systems. The website features an advanced product zoom and shop by brand functionality. Additionally, the website has an integration with Lightspeed POS, the POS system that 25Park uses in their retail stores to synchronized inventory control.

Orange Tree Productions was founded in 1992 for the purpose of creating a music and nature audio series to help benefit the Yosemite Association. Founded in 2003, 3 Gorillas is a company who believes that protecting the environment and offering great products and values to their customers go hand-in-hand. Redstage transitioned the site to Magento several years ago from another ecommerce system focused on eBay and Amazon sales, but with limited capabilities for an ecommerce site. The site was built on Magento Community with an integration for eBay and Amazon sales, centralizing their catalog as well as order management.

Magento Enterprise was selected as the stable platform that has limitless extensibility capability. Having come from a hand-coded site that was very costly to keep up with competitors, Magent Enterprise drastically lowered the total cost of ownership.

 

The site uses an intuitive Responsive Design which resizes and rearranges products depending on the device that is accessing the website.

 

The site takes advantage of the Gift Registry, Gift Certificates and RMA features that are built into Magento Enterprise.

Overview

Redstage redeveloped the hidefconferencing product’s website to Citrix design and functionality standards, as well as create and develop an entirely new user interface for their software application. The timeline was extremely short and we still managed to deliver almost a week early.

Founded over 10 years ago, Pixi Beauty is a worldwide brand designed for women on the go. Their mission is the same as it was on day 1 – bring out the natural beauty in all women – to make women look like themselves, only better!

 

Pixi Came to Redstage with an existing Magento site looking for some routine maintenance and updates under the Support Retainer program. Eventually, it was discovered that the site had numerous core code modifications and poorly developed integrations, so Redstage was tasked with re-developing the site.

 

The Solution

 

Redstage built the site on the Magento Community edition with an integration to a WordPress CMS system for content management. In addition to the site development, Redstage created a custom report for tracking coupon code usage by order volume as well as revenue generated through customers using the codes.

 

After development, Redstage has continued to provide on-going support and maintenance as well as routine site updates.

 

After working our strategy team, Pixi has seen a 600% increase in revenue in Q1 2014 compared to Q1 2013 with a modest increase in traffic of 13% in that same time period. The site has seen an increase in conversion of over 168% since engaging with Redstage.

The US Gold Bureau was founded with the idea of bringing trust and integrity to process of acquiring precious metals. Their goal is to always exceed customer expectations, helping them to make better, more informed buying decisions.

 

US Gold Bureau came to Redstage with an existing site already built in Magento (wholesalecoinsdirect.com). Redstage was brought on to port over the US Gold Bureau website to Magento from Sitelink as an additional store in the existing Magento install for Wholesale Coins Direct. Additionally, Redstage had to integrate the Magento install with the MOM order management system as well as an integration with a custom ERP system.

 

The Solution

 

The existing Wholesale Coins Direct site was already built on Magento Community edition, so the US Gold Bureau website was added onto that install using Magento’s multi-store functionality. Redstage provided a design review and consultation on site designs provided by US Gold Bureau. The website content and lead generation site is run by drupal6, so Redstage had to work to seamlessly integrate these two platforms by integrating the sessions on the different systems and carrying over the users cart into the header on the drupal site. Redstage also integrated a live precious metal price ticker throughout the website to inform customers on the current buying prices. Integration support for the MOM system was provided as well as an advanced integration with a custom ERP system.

 

In addition to developing the US Gold Website, Redstage simultaneously provided ongoing support services for the existing Wholesale Coins Direct website. Among the services provided was assistance with a website migration to a new server which helped improve site performance and lowered page load times by 27%.

Founded in the fall of 2001, High Point Scientific was born out of a hobby of founder Bob Dugan. Over the past 13 years, the company has grown from a traditional brick and mortar store adding a catalog/mail order business and eventually an ecommerce website. The staff are true hobbyists with a passion for the products they sell, allowing them to offer a unique level of service for their customers.

 

High Point came to Redstage with a site built on the Zoovy platform looking for a stable system offering a wider variety of functionality as well as extensibility for future updates. In addition, High Point was looking for a partner to help increase conversions which were well below the standard average range.

 

The Solution

 

Magento Enterprise was selected as the platform for this project due to it’s stability and extensibility. Redstage implemented custom category navigation which is controlled using static blocks for custom sorting and display. Additionally, integrations with shopping comparison sites and Amazon and eBay for added for centralized product management as well as order fulfillment. Since launch, the website has seen a 70% increase in conversion since last year.

 

Redstage is also continuing to work with High Point for on-going site updates and maintenance in an effort to improve the functionality and user experience on the site to increase conversion even further.

GTRStore is a retailer selling a wide range of musical instruments through their physical store as well as their website. Carrying a variety of new, used and vintage/boutique gear, GTRStore has built a reputation of being one of the top music stores around.

 

Having just opened a new showroom/event space, GTR store asked Redstage to help re-brand their existing website with an updated look and feel to match their new location. The challenge was to implement this new look and feel while improving usability with a Responsive Theme for seamless shopping on a wide range of desktop, mobile and tablet browsers. Additionally, a custom product feed was required to import products for another supplier into the GTRStore Inventory.

 

The Solution

Magento Enterprise was selected as the platform for its stability and limitless extensibility capability. Homepage sliders and banners were implemented using Magento Static Blocks for easy updating. Redstage created a custom import/update from a 3rd party supplier which downloads a product catalog daily to update existing products or import new products through an advanced attribute and category mapping system between the supplier data and the GTRStore Magento admin.

 

The site uses an intuitive Responsive Design theme which resizes and rearranges products depending on the device that is accessing the website.

1st In Coffee came to Redstage with a hand-coded ASP based website looking to upgrade to a much more modern and robust platform with full mobile capabilities.  The platform became unmanageable as new feature enhancements became increasingly costly.

Built with a responsive design to make the theme work across desktop, mobile and tablet browsers, the site will re-size and rearrange depending on the viewport that is accessing the site.

Having owned several successful retail running shoe stores, Michael Conforti came to Redstage looking to expand his operations to ecommerce. Kindrunner was born not just as a new channel for sales, but as a way to better the environment and help those in need. The goal was to provide runners with professional advice and the greatest value for the best running shoes and accessories. To help the environment, Kind Runner offers “kindness cash” to customers who send in used running shoes for re-purposing. While Kindrunner offers free 3-way shipping, they offer a discount to customers who agree to pay return shipping if they want to return the product they’ve purchased.

 

The Solution

 

Redstage build the Kindrunner website on the Magento Platform. The site has some advanced navigation features like fly-out top navigation and shop by brands. The site has an advanced product image zoom as well as features videos on the product page.

 

Redstage developed a custom “confident runner” discount feature (when a customer agrees to pay return shipping) as well as a custom “Kindness Cash” module for customers who sending in used shoes for re-purposing.

PFI Western Store originated in 1975 as Preferred Farmers Incorporated specializing in livestock feed and farm supplies. As the company expanded, they purchased the clothing store next door, which came with the remaining inventory. After selling off the inventory, they found that their customers liked the Western-inspired clothing and decided to keep the clothes in stock. Over the years, PFI Western Store continued to grow and eventually shed the livestock feed unit and focused on the Western-inspired Lifestyle, a focus which has made them one of the premier shops for Western-inspired fashion.

 

PFI Western came to Redstage with two custom ecommerce sites (pfiwestern.com and bootdaddy.com). They wanted the sites rebuilt on a stable and extensible platform, for which Magento Enterprise was selected. The sites have identical functionality and share the same inventory but have slightly different designs. Promotions are an important part of their business and PFI required a robust system for coupon creation.
